Archbishop Tony was appointed Apostolic Nuncio to the United States by His Excellency the Ecumenical Primate of the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ Worldwide (ECCC) on January 21, 2021.  He is also the Metropolitan Archbishop of California, USA (2012- ); The Dean of Students and Formation Director for the Western Region of the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ (2013-Present), and The Minister General for The New Order of St. Francis and Clare-United States of America Province (2019-Present).  In 2021 and completed in 2022,  he requested and was granted permission to write the clergy and layperson's guide to the Church Manifesto and a commentary. It is entitled, "A Text, Commentary and Canon Law of the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ", and he has published 15 Canon Law Texts, A Text and Commentary on the Canon Law (Manifesto) of the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ, a Pontifical for the ECCC and, a Franciscan Spirituality book entitled: "And What Peace Can I Receive from God?: The Miracle of Francis and the Leper."  Both are presently published through KDP Amazon Publishers and can be found in the Amazon bookstore.  He is presently writing for the Bishops and Clergy a book entitled: "A Pontifical for the Ecumenical Catholic Church of Christ, A Worldwide Denomination-A Liturgical Handbook for Bishops."  It is expected to be out in late 2022 or early 2023.

Archbishop Scuderi has earned a Doctorate in Psychology, a Doctor of Ministry, a Doctor of Canon Law, and a Doctorate of Divinity.  He has earned a Master of Arts in Counseling Psychology, A Master of Divinity, a Bachelor of Science in Mental Health Counseling, and an Associate of Arts in Correctional Administration. He is licensed to treat additions both in California and Internationally through the California Consortium of Addictions Programs and Professionals (CCAPP) and the IC&RC credentialing board. He is a  Certified Hypnotherapist, Certified Addictions Life Coach, and a Certified Relationship Life Coach from the American Institute for Hypnotherapy and Psychotherapy Center-New York.  He is the lead professor of the addictions studies program in Rancho Cordova, CA at InterCoast Colleges teaching the Certificate Program, the Associate of Applied Sciences, and the Bachelor of Science in Addiction Studies.

Archbishop Scuderi enjoys acting, public speaking, motivational speaking, and doing Japanese WaterColor, and he plays the Banjo, Guitar, Mandolin, and some Piano and Violin. He holds, with the All Japan Jujitsu International Federation (AJJIF) a 10th Degree Black Belt in Judo and Jujitsu and a 7th Degree Black Belt in Daito Ryu AikiJitsu, and a 6th Degree Black Belt in Judo with the United States Judo Association (USJA).  He enjoys writing and, as mentioned above, is a published author with books available on Amazon.com through KDP Publications.
